The Village of Nunda (part of the beautiful Keshequa Region of Western New York State) was incorporated in 1839 as "Nunda Valley".

The area within ten miles of the center of the village has a population of about 3,000.  The surrounding land is mostly rural and agricultural.

Nunda lies within a twenty minute drive of:

• Route 390 ("The Expressway") and easy access to Rochester and the Finger Lakes Area
  
• Letchworth State Park ("The Grand Canyon of the East")
  
• Swain Ski Slopes
  
• SUNY at Geneseo
  
• Noyes Memorial Hospital
