The Tremont String Quartet is quartet-in-residence at the State University of New York at Geneseo. They are frequent recipients of grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Their repertory includes a broad range of repertory from baroque through contemporary. Recent world premieres include works by James Willey, professor emeritus at SUNY Geneseo, and Anneliese Weibel, professor of composition at SUNY Geneseo. They have recorded for Centaur and CRI. |
