The Full Swing Big Band consists of l7 musicians from four counties in Western New York. The Band was organized in l985 by Al Harvey, a retired music teacher from Warsaw. It is now directed by Don Hughes, a retired music teacher from Perry. The band provides entertaining and artistic swing style music to a variety of audiences. Our musicians range in age from 27 to 81 and the members of the band enjoy performing as much as the audiences enjoy the music. The band has played at the YMCA, Epworth Hall at Silver Lake, Silver Lake Drive-In, Wyoming County Pioneer Picnic, and in Batavia, Nunda and Perry.
