TALENT SEARCH

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO PERFORMED
IN THIS SUMMER'S TALENT SEARCH
AND A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR THREE TOP WINNERS:

Tim McGowan -- First Place
Bernadette Reinert -- Second Place
Alexys Martindale  -- Third Place   

The Groups or Individuals who proceed to subsequent performances will be determined by
both judge and audience-vote each week  Winners will be notified.

Performance Layout:
1st evening (6/30):  Maximum 20 acts.  2 minute minimum, 5 minute maximum performance time per act.

2nd evening (7/28):  Maximum 15 acts.  4 minute minimum, 7 minute maximum performance time per act.

3rd evening (8/25):  Maximum 10 acts.  6 minute minimum, 9 minute maximum performance time per act.

Contestants may repeat the audition music/act only 1 time.  
Those acts advancing may not repeat music that has already been performed for judging
(other than the audition music as noted above.)
Audience and judging panel results will be final. 

Criteria used for judging include, but are not limited to, the following:

v Appearance (e.g. costume, hair, make-up),

v Style (e.g. does it match your abilities)

v Stage Presentation (e.g. are you comfortable in your performance; do you "sell" it)

v Audience appeal (e.g. applause)

v Musical Talent (e.g. do you have the talent to advance to the next level)

Audience voting will consist of 1 ballot sheet per person. 
Audience members will vote for the top 3 acts at the conclusion of each concert.
Any ballot not containing votes for EXACTLY 3 acts will be considered null and void. 
Ballots will be distributed to those entering the concert before the first performance
And will be collected from those present at the end of the concert, one ballot per person.
There will be a final call for ballots approximately ten minutes after the concert's end.
  No ballots will be accepted after the final call.

THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE

Prizes will be awarded after the contest is completed in August. 
All Results are FINAL. 
1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes of $500.00, $250.00 and $125.00 will be awarded pending final results. 
There is no age limit to compete and all ages will be judged on par.
